Q: How many feet of film fit on a single DVD? A: Approximately 2000ft of 8mm film, or 4000ft of 16mm film fit on a single DVD. Q: Can background music added to silent 8mm or 16mm films? A: Yes. You can supply music from any personal CD that you have, or you can tell us the names, artists, or type of music that you would like to use, and we can mix it onto the DVD for you.
Q: What if I don't know what's on the films, and want to put them in a certain order, is there any way to view the films before I transfer them to DVD? A: Yes, you have two options:
Q: I want to edit and create my own videos from my transferred films. Can I receive the original video files to do this? A: Yes. We can convert your film to full definiton AVI video files that can be used in any video editing program. We can transfer them to data DVD's, or your own portable external hard drive.
  Q: How many hours of video fit on a DVD? A: A maximum of 3 hours of video can fit onto a single DVD.
Q: Can multiple videos be combined to make a single DVD? A: Yes. We can combine as many videos together from any format to produce a final DVD up to 3hrs.
Q: I don't want to transfer the entire video, just a certain portion. Can I request that certain parts of the video be edited and removed? A: Yes. We will accept any request for specific parts of your video to be edited or removed before transferring it to DVD. You would either need to write down and submit it with you order the sections of your video you would like to edit out, or you can work with us one on one to determine the areas you would like edit out.
Q: Are you able to restore my videos? A: Yes. If the video is dark, needs color restoration, or the audio is bad, when are able to restore all these problems.

  Q: What dpi do you scan my slides at? A: We scan all slides at 3600dpi or higher depending on the size of the film.
Q: Do you restore, repair or remove dust particles from images? A: Yes. All slides and pictures are scanned using Digital I.C.E. technology, which removes dust, and restores color in all photos. After this is done, we double check every single scanned image again and manually repair any other defects that an image may have.
Q: How many slides or pictures fit on a DVD slide show? A: Approximately 700-800 slides or pictures (2hrs) will fit on a single DVD slide show.
Q: How long is each photo displayed for on screen during the slide show? A: By default, each photo is displayed for 10 seconds each, but we can also change this amount to be longer or shorter depending on personal preference, time limits, or if we are creating a custom slide show with music that will need to fit accordingly.
Q: Can I stop or pause on a photo during the slide show? A: Yes. At anytime during the slide show, simply press pause on your remote to stop on a photo.
Q: Can video be mixed with a photo slide show? A: Yes, we can add video of any format into any DVD slide show.
Q: Can I add text or titles to a slide show? A: Yes, we can add titles, credits, graphics, and sub-titles to any DVD slide show. Q: I want to be able to access, print, and email my scanned slides. Can I receive a DVD that can do this? A: Yes. We can create a data DVD containing all your scanned slides in either JPEG, BMP, TIFF, or PDF format that can be used for any purpose.
Q: Do you restore audio before transferring them to CD? A: Yes. Unless you specify, we will automatically remove crackling, hiss, poor audio output, or any other problems before transferring them to CD.
Q: How many minutes of audio fit on one CD? A: A maximum of 98 minutes can fit on one regular CD.
Q: Are tracks added to separate songs on a CD? A: Yes. We will separate each song onto its own track, and you'll be able to browse through it like any other CD.
Q: I don't want a CD, but rather an Mp3 data CD containing all my audio. Is this something you can do? A: Yes. We can convert all your audio to Mp3 format, and burn a data CD or DVD
containing all your music. You can play hours of music from a single disc on your CD player if it supports the format, and
the disc can also be used to upload all the music to your Ipod or Mp3 player. |
